The Machiavellis Take on the World.....and
You Can Help!
Gloucestershire band
and local stars the Machiavellis are set to play at the esteemed London Astoria
in the national final of the Emergenza worldwide battle of the bands
contest. The competition which runs across 10 countries and 74
cities around the world, gives an opportunity for the country's best
up and coming acts a chance to perform in the some of the top venues
in the UK.
After beating off
competition from a host of other acts across the UK, winning the
first heat and finishing runner up in the semi final at the Purple
Turtle in Camden, the band is set for the final in London some time
at the end of July or early August (date yet to be confirmed).
The band have
organised a number of coaches to the show in London which will
depart from outside the Vine in Cheltenham. If you're interested in

Winners of the
national competition then go on to represent the UK in the worldwide final
in Germany where they have a chance to win a slot at this years NME awards show and a host of
musical goodies that could total over £250,000!!!!!
