World Battle of the
Bands Finalists at the Frog
Saturday
January 31st see's Global Battle of the Bands finalists Lounge
Fly play the Cheltenham's Frog and Fiddle along with
Cheltenham's JC's Revenge and Manchester band The Words.
Formed from the
remnants of two previous bands, (Moonfish & The Mild Mannered
Janitors), Lounge Fly hail play a powerful mix of rock and pop.
Moonfish won the England Final of the Global Battle of the Bands
last September as judged by Rick Wakeman, representing the country
in the World Final.
Cheltenham's JC's
Revenge have just released their debut "Seven Eleven e.p."
out this month on Lone Trader records. The band mix a warm style of
pop harmonies with grunge / rock riffs.
Manchester band The
Words complete the trio of bands playing the Frog on the 31st
January which starts around 8pm and is free to get in.
