Win the Chance to
Play Acoustically at Wychwood
Kiss My Face Music
(a non-profit making local music company) is running an acoustic
night at the Frog and Fiddle in Cheltenham on the evening of
Saturday 16th February. This night is in partnership with the
Virtual Arts Centre at Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum and the
Wychwood Festival.
The night is a
competition, with the winner getting a slot on the community stage
at the Wychwood Festival (dates: 30 May – 1 June 2008) and of
course, a free weekend pass. The winner and runner up will also be
invited to play at a Wychwood warm-up gig on the 22nd of March. The
night will by judged by impartial judges from local music companies.
There are six
slots available for upcoming local artists. If you would like to be

people you would expect to attract to the gig (sorry to have to ask
this, but we need to be sure that enough people turn up to cover our
costs.)
Competition for
these two places is likely to be tough so please apply by Friday
18th January. The successful artists will be notified on Sunday 20th
January.
