I'm a Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist and
Harmonica player with highly-developed instrumental and vocal skills
performing original songs with the emphasis on substance as much as
style.
Why should we come and see you?
I
come highly recommended.
People ask me "Why aren't you famous?!?" and use words
like 'Beautiful', 'Amazing', 'Maestro' and 'Genius'. I usually
reply... "Well, I've spent most of my career trying to be good
rather than actually 'getting it out there', so to speak" -
however, now I'm trying to 'get it out there' too. I use some
effects live to bring some dynamics to the listening experience. Due
to my large repertoire, and despite now playing over a 100 gigs a
year, I never play the same set twice! Keeps it fresh. Also,
applause makes me play better, so please come and say
"Hello!"
For Fans of / Sounds Like…
my style includes elements of
Jazz, Folk and Blues with a Psychedelic Rock infusion holding it all
together... sometimes tightly, sometimes loosely - whatever the song

I'm aware of being influenced by Roy Harper (the unhinged poet),
Richie Havens (the positive passion), Tim Buckley (the soul), Blues
music (the roots energy), Nick Drake (pastoral guitar), Genesis
(complexity and vocally), Yes (fey positivity) and Rush (riffs,
reflections and precision), and have been told I sound a bit like
Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Ben Harper, um Damien Rice and Eddie
