They Say...
"Gloucester Guildhall in
Eastgate Street is the county's liveliest, most diverse venue,
boasting the best live music space, two cinema screens, a theatre,
galleries, workshops and a friendly café-bar.
We aim to put on as much fantastic
new live music, comedy & theatre as we can each year.
Gloucester
Guildhall's cinema is housed in a stunning wood panelled Victorian
chamber, and shows a fantastically diverse mix of classic films,
art-house releases and big screen blockbusters. Plus due to a change
in our licence, you can now happily buy a pint or a glass of wine,
sit back and watch the film of your choice.

Our music space has one of the best
sprung dance floors in the county - our monthly indie club Bounce!
was even named after it! We host regular concerts and performances,
including The Big Laugh Café, and Acoustica, an awesome new music
night. Check out our events listings for whats on! We also stages
hundreds of workshops, from Jazzjive to breakdancing, yoga to life
drawing, so if you're interested in learning something new or
meeting new people, pop into the Guildhall or have a look at the
website for whats coming up.
The café-bar is a very chilled out
place for you to enjoy a leisurely lunch or a drink before a film.
Opening times are 10am - 4pm in the daytime, and we open in the
evening at 7pm for shows."
