Who Are You: I'm Clive Gregson. Ex Any Trouble ("Best live band since The Pretenders", Melody Maker, 1980), Gregson & Collister ("The state of the art in British folk-rock", Rolling Sone, 1986) and a solo artist for the last 15 years. In between recording, touring solo, producing, playing sessions and writing, I somehow find time to play guitar for Nanci Griffith, renowned country/folk artist from Nashville, where I live. I wrote Nanci's recent hit single "I Love This Town". I've written songs that have been recorded by many other artists, too. I'm from Manchester, England and I support Man Utd.
Why Should We Come and See You: Hopefully because you'll have a much better time at one of my gigs than just sitting at home watching crap on the TV. I like to think I'm very good at what I do (playing guitar, singing, songwriting and being fairly funny) and if you don't come to see for yourself, you won't be able to say otherwise will you?
