Win the Chance to Play at the Wychwood Festival

& Music (a non-profit making local music company) is running a gig
night at the 2pigs in Cheltenham on the evening of Weds 19th
December and there are two slots available for upcoming local bands.
The night is battle
of the bands style so you will not be paid for playing (the money
will go towards paying for a prize for the winning band). This
battle will be 1 of 4 heats with the 4 finalists meeting at a final
event, to decide upon the overall winner.
We are working with
some great partners including the Virtual Arts Centre at Cheltenham
Art Gallery & Museum and the Wychwood Festival who have teamed up to
offer the four finalists a coveted slot on the community stage at
the
Wychwood Festival in 2008 (dates: 30 May – 1 June) and of
course, a free weekend pass.

to register your interest
including a Myspace if you have one. Please indicate how many people
you would expect to attract to the gig (sorry to have to ask this,
but we need to be sure that lots of people turn up so that we make
enough money to cover our costs and afford a great prize).
Competition for these two places is likely to be tough so please
apply by Monday 19th of November. The successful bands will be
notified on Wednesday 21st November.
